What is the CompanyCube?

The CompanyCube is a powerful, multi-dimensional tool used to summarize financial and non-financial data of member companies. The CompanyCube provides a dynamic view of key financial indicators for a particular company or group of companies, and it allows users both to recognize where they excel and to find opportunities for improvement.

How does the CompanyCube work?

The CompanyCube tool is based on the familiar Excel interface. In contrast to typical spreadsheets, however, the CompanyCube is connected in real-time to the CoopMetrics data warehouse. It then summarizes and organizes this “live” information into a variety of worksheets designed to filter and display the data in different formats allowing opportunities for useful comparisons. The CompanyCube includes several toolbars and pull-down menus to enable the user to tailor the data they are viewing and present it in graphical or tabular form.

The CompanyCube has been used by different sectors in a wide variety of ways.
