The tables provide a simple way to compare your company’s data with that of other companies for the current quarter. They show the same column of data as in the HiFi for most recent quarter for all companies, ordered by sales volume. They show the same information as in the Graphs but in a numerical instead of graphical format.
This report can be characterized as “one quarter, many companies."
Tables are created for each peer group. For example, one set of tables is produced by company size, while another set is produced by geographic location. The tables allow you to spot trends and compare your performance to your peers'.
The different companies in your comparison group are listed across the top of the worksheet and the financial categories are listed down the left-hand side.
All financial information is confidential. Each company represented in the tables is assigned a random number. Each participant knows their number but does not know the numbers of other participating companies. Some groups have chosen to voluntarily lift anonymity within the group in order to improve more rapidly by working more closely with each other.
The tables are downloaded from the secure website. Only participants with a valid user name and password can download the tables. Each company determines who gets a user name and password as well as what tables and reports each person can see. Although this data is stored in a state-of-the-art data warehouse, the user interface is a simple password-protected spreadsheet.
